Funny Face happens to be one of my favorite movies,
second after Breakfast at Tiffany's. What drew me
most to this movie, is the scene when she breaks
away to dance in the philosophical Parisian cafe.
It was a liberating and charming scene that set the tone
for the rest of the film.
After re-watching this lovely film one item inspired me,
her sleek cigarette pants.
It was at that moment that I realized what I was aiming
for in the new year. Fitted yet relaxed, in
all colors and patterns was the ideal for this upcoming
season. To be able to be independent and dance away as
she did in the film is what I envisioned to celebrate the
bloom of flowers and springtime! Here are a few examples
of cigarette pants that are making a statement already in
stores now.
1. Rachel Zoe Ian Cigarette Pants $164.99
2. Rochas Polka Dot Cigarette Pants $825
3. Resort Batik Pants $285
An image from Harper's Bazaar on Cigarette Pants:
This particular style will always be a timeless and classic piece.
Ever versatile and always makes an outfit appear wonderful
and chic just as Audrey Hepburn herself.
